Specific research interest in calcium and skeletal metabolism include: molecular, cellular, and clinical biology of the calcium-regulating hormones (calcitonin, PTH, PTH-related protein); regulation of neuroendocrine gene expression, including the chromogranins; endocrine and neuroendocrine cancer, including prostate and breast; hypercalcemia and malignancy; osteoporosis; bone metastases; and bone cell and matrix proteins.
